Is that too hard to ask?
Love Me!
How hard can that be?
Love me!
Make my heart beat!
Love me!
I won't retreat
All I want is love
What could be asked in return
All I want is love for my heart to sing a song
A love so strong
A love so weak, a man would cry
I fell in love with her
With the mystery beneath her smile
The mystic smile that gave the kid in me life
The kid that believed in magic
For greater magic no man has seen
Than the magic of true love
Such magic I want to wield
Such magic I want to share
But she didn't believe in magic
She didn't believe in me
I wanted her to love me
I wanted her to see
That true love's magic did exist
I wanted her to love me
And so she did
But she loved me as a friend!

I really do like your style of writing. However, I think you should work on the structure or pattern of your poem.
Some are a quatrain and others are not.
Make it all balanced. Keep it up.
