Alien Cartography
Meandering
Hopeless
Twisting beyond repair
But still smothered
In an antidote
Of care
A desire
To be
Elsewhere
Angled solstice
Alien cartography
That lingers
In memory
The shadow walks there
Listens, learns,
Breathes in past air
Genetic
Misplacement
Of a battle worn paper thin
Exhausted
Twisted fragments
A chance to leave
And not return
In anything
But name
And written words

Es este poema una pieza bien interesante, @naquoya. El hombre necesita una guía para poder desplazarse y no perderse, pero en este caso parece justamente todo lo contrario. Hay un deseo solapado al extravío. Por ejemplo:
"Una oportunidad de irse
y no regresar".
Y que como si se quisiera estar en otro espacio:
"Un deseo de
estar en
otro lugar".
Es tu día 12.

It's not so much about a craving for, but a subconscious reality. At least that is where I was heading with this.
refers to, or implies, hidden aspects of the self that seem foreign. So it is a vocabulary reference, but to the person. I hope that makes sense.
