Favorite (day 74)
I'm used to being people's favorite
even though I am not mine.
They must be seeing something special,
something I can't determine.
But why should I see it anyway?
Only they spot it. That is fine.
I guess the sun doesn't have an answer
For "How did she learn to shine?"
The more you give the more you get.
Even if sometimes it's late,
Team Good get what they deserve.
This isn't something to debate.
I'm not asking for rewards
or expecting, but I believe:
By giving, with no second thoughts,
we have a lot more to achieve.
This was my day 74 of the poetry challenge and my day 134 in steemit. The day I reach 1000 followers!
Only this poem can describe, even a little, how I feel right now about being here. But no words ever, even a poem, can describe how grateful I am for the people I met here in this short period. Thank you for everything.
