This is an amazing poem. I love the extended metaphor and the piercing insight into deception.
The viewfinder cracked by the lightning
sheds its dark green light
over the lenses soiled with fingerprints
and spider webs.
These are my favorite lines.

Thank you for putting a finger on the message of the poem that was not 100% clear even to me: " the piercing insight into deception" using the extended metaphor of optometry jargon.
