Steemit Sandwich Contest Week #2 - Chicken Shawarma Wrap
Hello my dear Steemians friends!
I am so happy to participate for the 2nd week running of the Steemitsandwichcontest which is held by @jaybird!
For this week , i will present a chicken shawarma wrap with cucumber and pineapple. I hope you will enjoy it and hopefully try it at home too!
Chicken Shawarma Wrap
NAME :
Chicken Sharwarma Wrap
INGREDIENTS :
Homemade flour tortillas
Cooked chicken marinated with shawarma spices
Cucumber
Tomato
Cocktail sauce
Pineapple
Gherkins
Cheddar cheese
Carrots
ADDITIONAL INFO :
This wrap is inspired from the famous street food; shawarma which is quite famous in many countries!
I made my homemade one by marinating the chicken in mild spices and grilling it till a nice golden brown color.
The cucumber, pineapple and tomato just bring additional charm to this amazing sandwich!
The sweetness of the cocktail sauce is just super yummy inside!
The final result was really very tasty and i had it for lunch today!

Thank you very much for your reading, for the cocktail sauce you have to mix little mayonnaise with ketchup and Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce and little lemon juice.
