SteemitPhotoChallenge Entry #9 - Spiderboy goes surfing

This was basically something taken at an opportune moment. I'm currently traveling in Southeast Asia with two friends of mine, one of whom has taken an interest in blogging on Steemit (@acelya) and both interested in taking pictures to show friends and family back home. At the beginning of our journey, we only had the cameras on our phones, but when we arrived in Sri Lanka, I purchased a Canon EOS 750D and a GoPro HERO4 Black, much to their elation. I had considered buying a camera before to do food photography, but I never really took the plunge before now.

So, the three of us are learning photography together, as well as other things, such as surfing....

I was trying to get some good photos of Aichurok, but she kept doing a lot of falling instead. When she fell again (hey, it was her second time and the waves were a bit stronger that day), I let my focus wander a little bit and found young spiderboy through my viewfinder and quickly snapped a few pictures.

And then I looked back at Aichurok and awaited the next wave....
