📷 Steemit Photo Challenge | Theme : Action / High Shutter Speed - Bull Race

Little Jockey spur cows in a bull race on the Madura Island, Indonesia.
Use Rokong to whip cows to run as fast as possible.
Indeed, the race is unfair to cows, tortured with whip using nails. But this is culture, who can hold it.

Thank you friend :)

WOW. I like that very much!
You're a really fantastic photographer. Even under difficult conditions. superb action shot, great feeling of motion !!! Excellent documentary shot too, my friend! with an amazing sense of energy . Congratulations ...

and have a nice day ... my friend :)

Thank you very much my friend for your compliments!
When photographing it I almost got hit by the cows 😅
Dust surrounds me as they come in front of me.
No one is allowed in the arena. This is a race filled with local magic, I was lucky to get permission to take photos from within the arena.

a very challenging action..

Thanks! this challenge is very fun :)

Wow cool shot, looks super dangerous too!

Thanks my friend! It seems very dangerous. The cows don't care to run as fast as possible, but I feel lucky to be more careful 😉

Yes I would stay away from it too!

Great shot bro, funny enough I've only seen pictures of these bull races in bw, wouldbe interesting to see one in colo. Nonetheless an epic picture! Check out my entry.

amazing capture. Thank you for posting the camera setting and exposure, I really like to see that so I can learn and have an idea of how to get this kind of image. I also always think that about the culture - how long does it take to change hundreds of years of culture? But I also wonder..do some animals enjoy the sport, and some other animals hate it? Do animals have personalities like humans, in which they may or may not get bored without a game like this?

Thank you!! hopefully we can learn together here :)
about that i'm not so sure, animals remain as animals. But what is unfortunate is that humans behave like animals. Once again culture can never be blamed, perhaps from it will create a civilization that is different from the others.
