Steemit Photo Challenge #54 - Animal Portrait Entry 1 - Fire Soul (untold story)
The story behind these shots :
We were just back from a travel to Nepal with my friends Mathieu Imbert and Laurent Rouby. We had been there to film a freeride skiing short in the Annapurna Sanctuary for the brand ACG. (Still the most powerful travel I have made with the Bangladesh one, and would need a long ass post to tell).
Back in in the french Alps then, we had this goal to film a fire burning representing a tribute given to one of our friend freeskier that had died in on freeride run just here, in Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise where Laurent was originally from.
The big fire had to be launched at sunset.
As we were preparing everything, this fox came out of nowhere and stayed here looking at us, immobile, for one minute.
I feel very lucky to have had the chance to capture this.
One friend of mine actually told me it was quite rare to see a wild mountain fox approaching that close to humans. Even if Fox came probably hoping for some food, I like to believe that he actually understood what we were doing and came to support us before leaving back to his own adventures. This moment will stay forever in my mind.

Really great shot of this hunter in the free nature. I think he was waiting for some leftovers of your food. Or maybe the fox was the reincarnation of your friend that wanted to say good bye...
Excellent analysis, this is what I like to believe too, because I don't remember us having food up there :)
That's a great shot with an amazing story. almost mythical, like from a @Small Prince:) I was also wondering how did it come so close and stayed so calm. Probably just wanted a picture of herself :)
