Am I #Club5050 Eligible? Is it Reliable? I Was Surprised With the Results!

It’s another week! I have been very busy with our trip here in Cebu City. I am excited now to go back to Bohol, in fact, today, we are traveling by five in the morning. I woke up three hours before as I mistakenly thought our wall clock shows five.

So I am making my time useful as I also can’t go back to sleep. A lot of things happened, on November 6, we traveled to Cebu via Loon to Argao trip then on the next week we were in Oslob to celebrate our grandmother-in-law’s birthday, she’s now 83. Then after a week’s stay, we went back to Cebu City and stayed here for another week.

Today, we are going back to Bohol finally but I had been contacting our municipality’s liaison officer about our S-Pass but that’s for another story.

So, as I was browsing in my Steemit account and the Steemit Philippines’ posting, I was attracted by the Eligibility Tool Update article. I had tried the old version before and it didn’t show me any results after inputting my username or maybe it did return something but was not giving me good results so this time, I felt like there might be an added feature so I check out the #Club5050 Tag Eligibility Tool as it has been featured to provide an excellent user experience.

The developer is @tomoyan from the Steem Japan Community. It’s in this article that I learned that there are even #club75 and #club100 tags! Now I wonder if these are legit tags or if they are indeed offering the same benefits if we use them like that of #club5050.

I went ahead and checked the tool. Now the question is how reliable this tool is!

Disclaimer: I am just stating my impressions and observations for this tool. All information stated here are my personal first hand experience only.

Notice that I had made a power-up a week ago and also transferred some Steem to Binance a day ago. But I missed checking the number of Steem that has been powered up so my transfer is one or two Steem bigger than my power-up which was a mistake but aside from that, within this month, I made other power-ups too!

I have my Steemit pages set to dark mode so perhaps this is the reason why the eligibility tool page is also in dark mode.

Impressions:

  • I like that it has a section where one can have an idea of what the #Club5050 is plus a direct link to the original article.
  • Community Check and Individual Check are both available, I guess before it was only community check
  • I like that I can type on the community drop-down box, it is easier than scrolling through the list of communities
  • There’s another link under the community check and I was curious where would it take me so I clicked on it only to be rerouted to the same page. I guess it is a little redundant.

On the Community Check

It mentions checking only the active ones for the last 24hours and it displayed six accounts only, my account wasn’t included on the list perhaps because I wasn’t active for a week now.

On the Individual Check

It checks the last 30 day transactions for power-ups and transfers. But it also displays the delegations. As stated, anyone who had delegated their steempower to bid-bots is not eligible.

The moment of truth:

The tool tag me as eligible for all the clubs, #club5050, #club75, and #club100!

How come?

It states I had earned 45.144 Steem and powered up a total of 235.638 Steem. I guess the 45.144 is SBD and not Steem because that is lower than the power-up total.

Surprisingly, it didn’t detect the transfer I made a day ago so it showed that I had powered up 100% while this is not true.

Author’s Note…

Perhaps the tool only considers transactions within a specific time. Mine was within that day, not even more than 24 hours so perhaps that explains why.

But I am just assuming, I know there’s another link where we can check our wallet transactions. Currently, when I look into my wallet, I can only view transactions made until 16 days ago while the club5050 tag covers 30-day eligibility.

I forgot what link can we use to check the wallet transactions, if you know it, please do comment below!

Thank you for reading this far, have you tried using the eligibility tool developed by @tomoyan? How was it? Was it accurate for your account?
