The Steemit Name Challenge ~ @deerjay

I was nominated by @pixelfan in his post HERE. I’m, actually, happy that he nominated me so big thank you! 😊 ❤

Here are the rules:

1. Tell us in a post how you chose the current Steemit username you have and the story behind it.
2. Tell us your real name!
3. If you could change your current username, which name would you choose and why? If you have a possible usernames list, mention it!
4. Use the tag #steemitnamechallenge so that the creator of the challenge can track all the posts and check them out.
5. Nominate 5 people for this challenge.

First off, I will plead guilty to being “one of those people” who hide behind their avatar. It’s how I’ve always been..super private! I’ve been trying to break out of my shell a bit and even posted some old photos in a couple of posts. Those were the very first time of EVER putting a photo of myself out there on any social media site and came with a little anxiety at that! Baby steps people..baby steps! I also only have a facebook because I took over an old account that my daughter had and wanted to keep in touch with some family members. Okay! On with the challenge…

My cat Tiger!

1. My initials are D.J. and spelled out Dee Jay. Go figure that name was taken..lol. I wanted to keep it close to that and happened to be looking at a photo of a deer so thought alrighty then. Then I realized that one of my middle names begins with a R. Perfect..like a sign from the Universe!
   

2. That is how I came up with my user name but my real name is Debbie. People also call me Deb, Dee, Hey You and quite a few others!

3. Nope! Wouldn’t change it as I feel it was chosen for me! 😊

4. Yep! Will use #steemitnamechallenge!

5. Dang! Five people is a lot and some are like obvious! I’ll name five and apologize now. Some may have already done it so 👍
