The Steemit Name Challenge @pixelfan

I was nominated by @rem3600 to continue the Steemit name Challenge… I just hate that guy 😉

Apparently there are some rules involved so… here they are :

1. Tell us in a post how you chose the current Steemit username you have. The story behind it.
2. Tell us your real name!
3. If you could change your current username, which name would you choose and why? If you have a possible usernames list, mention it!
4. Use the tag #steemitnamechallenge so that the creator of the challenge can track all the posts and check them out.
5. Nominate 5 people for this challenge.

So, let’s see what answers I can give you all… here we go…

1. For years I had a website where I showcased my pictures. I’ve always been an internet fan and as soon as I discovered I had some free MB webspace included with my Internet subscription I started to create websites. First static HTML and later PHP and databases… but that’s another story. Anyway, for years I had that photo-website with the great and terrific name “Eric’s Photo Site”. Original, isn’t it? 😊 Everything was fine, everything was great…until I started to be more serious about photography and suddenly, out of the blue, my wife told me “Don’t you think that name is pretty stupid” 😳
   So, as I never agree with her, but always do what she says… I had to come up with a more serious name. Call it a marketing exercise 😉 It took me days, almost months, sleepless nights, blood, sweat & Tears… but after 5 minutes I came up with Pixelfan. After all, digital photography, computers & internet… it’s all about pixels, and I’m a fan. And it sounds good! And if you (or she) don’t like it… go to hell. I don’t have another 5 minutes to spent 😊

2. Well, you know my first name already. Not enough? Ok, here we go, after all, I have (almost) nothing to hide : Eric Verbiest

3. Nope, don’t ask that again. Already told you that I will not change the name ever again!

4. Ok, I use the tag #steemitnamechallenge because you asked it so nicely (I’m not talking about you @rem3600, I hate you)

Almost forgot… that one guy I hate so much said something interesting after all so I just repeat it here :
