Building obedient characters in children

Hi Steemian how is it going? Hopefully healthy and creative work.
Each child is born with their own uniqueness. Unique in physicality and personality. This difference requires guidance from those around him. Parents and society determine whether the child will be a good person or bad person.
As parents, we certainly hope that children will become people who obey the rules and norms, grow empathy for others. A good child will make everyone feel comfortable. This is where the role of parents and the environment around determine the formation of character.

The need of obedient

Obedient children will make everything feel comfortable. We know that obedience to existing rules will glorify humans. With obedience means learning to create a noble life for himself. They will always be welcome wherever they are. Likewise for those around him, will feel the kindness of those who do good.
For example, someone who is driving a vehicle, for example, will harm himself and others when he is no longer compliant with traffic rules. Conversely, people who always obey the rules of traffic, will avoid it.
In order for children to grow to be obedient then we have to get used from childhood. Do not be too late to educate children to be obedient. The delay of parents / the surrounding environment educating children from childhood to obedience can lead to things that are not good first embedded in him. Parents will have difficulty teaching obedience when the child has grown into adulthood. They must have absorbed many understandings from various environments, some good and many bad. When we want to teach obedience it will be very difficult. Good teachings about manners are defeated by bad habits that he gets in the environment.

How to grow your leadership

Once the importance of the attitude of obedience to everyone, we must teach this attitude to children from childhood. Here are some ways you can do to instill adherence since childhood.

1. Stay away from bad labels
We can't label our children with bad labels.
Said naughty child, wayward not obedient will make children grow like what we label. They can feel it is useless to do good because they feel they have been given a bad stigma.
Give a good child label. They will feel ashamed if doing bad because doing bad is not the right action as a good child.

2. Don't compare
Comparing children will make children feel unappreciated. They will feel in the shadows of people who become comparison. Let the child grow with his personality, strengths and weaknesses. Parents only need to form without breaking their will.

3. Give responsibility
Teaching children to be responsible will make them grow mindfully. They will know if doing something there will be consequences that must be borne. This will make the child try to obey the rules in force. For example, if they wake up late they will be late for school and will bother themselves. Then it will be easy for us to say that they wake up early so that they are not in a hurry.

4. Become an example
Parents should not only say children must obey, but not be a good example. For example we teach children to tidy up the bedroom but we do not tidy up the work equipment itself. It seems unrelated, but children see careless parents who will make children feel treated unfairly. Conversely, if parents are always orderly, children will feel ashamed of themselves if they are not obedient.

5. Gentle parenting
Punishing children by physically harming them is not wise. They will grow ill feelings and will be remembered until adulthood. If they don't obey, explain softly so they understand our good intentions. This gentle parenting will bring the child better. They will be able to grow by not too easily overcome the problem by hitting.
Those are some things that I can write down this time that may be useful for all of us.

Thank you for reading my post. I hope you enjoy it.
