Many many times I hear that mathematics have no daily life use, but it applies to each and every aspect of our life. Word problems on each of the math topics are a great link between math concepts and daily life activities. So today I will discuss word problem based on addition and subtraction.
To solve the word problems given in the worksheets in this post, kids should use their addition and subtraction skills learned in previous posts. Also they can use their rounding skills to see the reasonableness of their answers.

Awesome presentation of word problem by using weighing machine @mathworksheets. I think if we represent word problem in this way kids will be attracted more instead of reading a word problem. Its a great idea to start introducing word problems amongst kids. Thanks for giving a nice idea.

Pretty awesome post @mathworksheets. As children build understanding about addition and subtraction, it is important that they become accustomed to making these connections. We can use addition to solve subtraction problems because subtraction is the inverse operation to addition. Subtraction is not as well-behaved as addition.

@mukhtarilyas, there is no aspect of life that is not related to math, absolutely right @mathworksheets. sometimes do not know the concept but have used math. examples of fish sellers in the market count the numbers.
