Measuring Weights using Analog Weighing Scales

In this activity we will use analog weighing scales to measure weights in the metric system. Then we will do a drill to find the correct unit to measure the weight of the given object. 

The scales I have used are in Grams and Kilograms. Students need to make sure that grams measure lighter weights even though number to represent the weight in grams is larger than that in case of Kilograms.

@mathworksheets My good friend not only teaches a kilogram or gram unit to a child, but using standard and valid measuring tools also needs emphasis, an arm balance sample with a spring balance.
