Ellie, the proud giraffe (Original Story)

Once upon a time, there was a cute giraffe named Ellie. She was a very beautiful giraffe, she was always with her mother and her father, every day after having breakfast, they went for a walk to the lake and talked about their adventures. She was a very happy giraffe, but deep down she was not so happy, because she did not have any friends.

Always when she went to the lake, she saw all the animals play and laugh, but she could not because her neck was very tall and she was the tallest of all the animals, that's why the other animals always rejected her. Once, annoyed and sad at the same time, she told her parents that she did not want to be a giraffe because she could not have any friends.

His parents were saddened to see that Ellie was not proud of being a giraffe, and they said to her: '' You should not be embarrassed to be tall, we are all special and unique, and if they do not understand, the problem is not your Ellie, they are the ones with the problem''. Ellie decided to take a walk to think about what her parents had told her.

In the course of the walk he met the other animals, all were worried and upset with Alex the frog, this was because they were playing with a ball and Alex had kicked so hard that he unintentionally threw her into a tree and none of they could recover it. Alex was crying because she felt guilty, Diane the hippopotamus approached her and said: '' Ellie, help us, you are tall and you can reach the ball. '' Ellie, she thought: '' Ha! Now you need me? I will not help you. '' But then he remembered the words of his parents and said: "Of course if Diane, Alex do not cry anymore, I will help you guys."

Ellie could quickly retrieve the ball and give it to them, Alex went running to hug her and to thank her for helping him, Diane did the same and also all the animals. Everyone asked her forgiveness for having rejected her, and they invited her to play with them every day.

Ellie, happier than ever, ran to her house to tell them about what happened to her parents, her parents embraced her and congratulated her for that good action even though they had rejected her. Ellie told them: '' I will never be ashamed to be a giraffe, I love being a giraffe and I love you for being the best parents in the world. ''

After this, was never ashamed to be a giraffe anymore, she was proud to be the tallest of them all. Ellie went to play every day with her new friends. Diane and Alex became his best friends, and they lived happily ever after.
