RE: Passive students in the classroom, how to solve it?

I am not sure the typical classroom setting is the best environment for most students in the first place, and even if it is, those of us who tend toward introversion detest compulsory participation in things. Sometimes apparently passive students just learn best that way.

Thank you for comment.

That's not wrong. But if the students are too passive, it can hamper their development. At the next education level, they will not get used to being active in the classroom.

Or being coerced into participation in things they find utterly abhorrent can stunt their ability to learn healthy social skills. That blade cuts both ways. The education model must fit the student, not vice-versa.
