HOW WE FILIPINO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS

This month of the year again! The month in which Santa Claus will bring some gifts to young and beautiful little kids and younger ones. The month where everyone is busy buying a gift and give it to their loved ones.

But the most important moment of Christmas time, of course, Christmas Day. Christmas Eve. People are getting busy preparing and cooking food for Noche Buena. Many Filipinos attend the Misa de Gallo or Midnight Mass. It also the end and the final mass of the Simbang Gabi.

At 12:00 AM on December 25, children wake up and see their gifts under the big Christmas tree. Children will receive toys from make-believe Santa Claus while parents and other siblings are greeting each other "Happy Christmas".

After giving gifts, with the whole family will proceed to the dining table and enjoy their Noche Buena. There's always, rice cake, ham, queso de bola, spaghetti, fruit, spring rolls and rice on the table. Desserts include pastries and cakes. Elders will give wine or beer to celebrate the meaning of Christmas.
