๐ So glad to see the Culinary Challenge is back !! I cant wait to share with you my " Take Me To Brunch In Canada " food post with you all ! Thsee Smokie Kabobs were made on my new BBQ that I purchased with steem !! And its only the second time im cooking on it ! Heres a link to my post on the BBQ I bought with STEEM ! ๐ HERES MY BRUNCH COUNTER FOR 4 ! BBQ SMOKIES / FRIED POTATOES IN OLIVE OIL ! / TOSSED GREEN SALAD ! MM MM MM! YUMMY !!
๐ LETS GET STARTED !! HERES YOUR INGREDIENTS ! I all ready the salad prepared from the Chicken dinner I made the night before ! So go ahead and just serve it with your favorite salad !!
๐ I USED 3 Smokies / 4 or more potatoes / 1\2 of each pepper / and 1whole onion ! ( Salt/ pepper / garlic powder / seasoned salt ! ) SLICE ALL INGREDIENTS UP INTO BITE SIZE PIECES !
๐ THEN SKEWER YOUR KABOBS ! JUST ADD AN EXTRA SMOKIE AND MORE POTATOES FOR A LARGER GROUP THIS MAKES 4 !
๐ START YOUR POTATOS ! IF YOU HAVE ANY BITS LEFT OVER FROM MAKING YOUR KABOBS , CHOP THEM UP AND ADD THEM TO YOUR POTATO'S ! FRY UNTIL BROWNED IN OLIVE OIL !
๐ ONCE YOU GET THOSE STARTED / START YOUR SMOKIE KABOBS ON YOUR PRE HEATED BBQ ! THANKS FOR THE BBQ STEEMIT !
๐ THAT'S IT ! SMOKIES ARE READY ! / YOUR POTATOES SHOULD BE DONE ( don't forget to keep flipping them off and on while you add BBQ sauce off and on as well to the kabobs , turning over as well !!

What is the carb and fat value of this recepie?
it cant be that high ! Its mostly all vegetables with a large salad , and a bit of smokie pieces which were grilled not fried ! Plus the potatoes were skins left on and lightly coated in olive oil for frying , so its quite healthy ! You could always just add chicken breast meat to the kabobs if you like which are all ready loaded with healthy peppers and onions ! Besides you can treat yourself once A week or once a month !! Would go great with basmati rice and cayenne powder on top.

I love the look of your colourful kabobs @karenmckersie! And they are nice and big too... I always feel a bit 'unfilled' eating small kabobs! I really like your tip of chopping up leftover bits and adding with the potatoes... waste not want not as they say :-) There's a lot of great textures there as well as flavours... yum.
And last but not least I must comment on your brand spanking new BBQ! Fantastic to hear you paid for it with Steemit earnings, well done! Let's hope lots of the future SCC themes allow for grill usage, because I want to see more of what you cook on it!!!

Thanks for your kind reply ! I have more time now since being laid off from work ! It was harder before because I worked the night shift in security , and had little time left between when I woke up around 330 or 400pm and had to leave for work at 7 or 8 pm ! Other then not making money its all good now ! LOL ! Steem on my friend ! ๐๐โ๐
