Wow, that is impressive. Looks really good. Love the post, with all the photos and the ID quiz. Which I didn't do too well on... ( : Now I have no excuse not to get out and make a giant salad from the yard, once I brush up on that ID part. Good luck in the challenge.
Thanks! It is important to get that plant identification right. I think the easiest ones to start with are the wild chives, borage flowers, spearmint, lemon balm, elephant garlic leaves, and dandelion flowers. The woodsorrel and narrowleaf plantain are hard to mistake for something else, too. Or the cleavers - you may know them as stick-tights, because they stick to your clothes.
Yes, I do have alot to learn here. And I've had those little cleavers/stick-tight thingies stick to me in the woods. We called the plant Gallium...probably from the scientific name. Thanks for the info and reply. Happy plant-ing ( :
