New Steemit Croatia logo design and the story behind the squres
It is very challenging to create a logo for the Croatian Steemit community. In the text below I will explain the reasons and how I came up with the design idea.
The colors on the Croatian flag are white, blue and red and of course recognizable checkerboard (chequy) that consists of 13 red and 12 silver (white) fields. It's also informally known in Croatian as šahovnica ("chessboard", from šah, "chess")
If you come to Croatia you can find white and red squares almost everywhere, the most famous ones who promote them are the Croatian football team.
