Here is my participation in Steemit Comment Challenge #45. Thank you, @danielsaori, for giving us the opportunity to share our interpretation of this beautiful and suggestive story.

I think it's a great microfiction exercise, @jayna. Your very short story condenses the meaning, which the reader must unfold, in the image of the child looking out the window, and his resistance in thought to the impertinent words of his coarse sister. Contemplating the visual spectacle offered by the outside through the glass and the sensation of the cold snow corroborates the possibility of imagining the arrival of Santa Claus, because imagination is like a glance that escapes, that flies. Childhood is endowed with that capacity of elevation and free transformation that is imagination. Fictional and poetic creation is one of the forms that survives in us.
