Pull Request Submitted - Moving the "Steemit Chat" link higher in the menu
I login to Steemit chat multiple times a day. Every time I login, I have to scroll way down in the main menu to find the "Steemit Chat" link.
I just submitted a pull request today to move the Steemit Chat link higher in the menu:
It's a small change, but I think it will benefit a lot of users.
Just because a pull request is submitted is not a guarantee that the change will make it up onto the live site. Steemit has to review it first, and they may approve or reject the change. I am hopeful that this change will get approved though, so that we can see it up on the live site :)
Here is a link to the pull request:

Now that That's out of the way. It's a good idea. A nice touch. ...and you know what? It just might keep a few batteries out of the landfill.
Good work!
Lol - Yeah, today my day was horrible because I had to scroll down the menu to find my "steemit chat" link!
Thanks!
Ha... I didn't even know it was there in the first place.
Thanks
Excellent job sir @ timcliff /
Thanks :)
Could you make a pull request to change the end of FAQ : https://steemit.com/faq.html
Apart from the content being very poor and outdated, it is not a wiki and the account creation is not going through (not sending the emails).
The username @dragonho is impossible to contact, tried everything.
(hasn't been active in 5 months)
The contact form on the website didn't get me any answers in two weeks.
Yes. @pfunk already talked to me about it. I got approval from @sneak to work on it. We'll be starting on it this weekend :)
I'm curious to have your though on this one : https://github.com/steemit/steemit.com/issues/1105
And if you know of another place where this was discussed.
I believe they are planning to redo the whole menu structure when they overhaul the UI - which is something that is not planned until a later date.
Major new functionality and bug fixes are the main focuses for now. User experience and a pretty UI are a lower priority at the moment.
Didn't even realize that, usually just open a new window.
Great idea!
Thanks :)
