I’m getting a little rain for the weekend. Some wind as well from some crazy called Irma.
Store shelves are empty, gas stations have cops and gas tankers have armed escorts. I was not aware I moved to another country overnight while sleeping lol. Thankfully I was more than ready for this. I did spend most of my week getting extra ready in case it was going be a cat5 for are area and helping some others that where not ready.
Thankful I have plans for events like this. So much price gouging at the store and gas stations. I’m as ready as I can be and can leave in under 5 minutes if told to do so. Doubtful I’ll need to be and it’s getting bit late for that as well. Weather will start to be too bad to want to travel in soon enough.
Like always hurricanes can’t make up their minds. Least the track has been shifting away from me every update. Granted I have 0 confidences in in weather reports lol. So many tracks it could go! I could swear somewhere they said we only have 90% chance of rain (wow buddy stop day time drinking at your place of work there weather man on tv!)

Major shift away from me even more. Looks like it’s going ride the other side of the coast. Currently its turning phase towards Florida. Longer it takes to turn better it is for me. Worse it is for others.
Hurricane also lost a fair bit of power. Not even expected to be a cat5 when it makes landfall over Florida. I’m Still within the path of uncertainty but should be less then 120mph even if it does come closer my way things where built to deal with that kind of wind. Yard and dead trees in area dealt with.
I’ll have watch some main steam news in a bit to see if they started to break down things even further then where I check online.
Looks like worst of it for me will be in the AM on Monday. Not sure when I’ll be powering down or when they will cut power.
I am personally glad for this update from you in every sense.
Glad you are still able to get a LOL, and that you are prepared. I have liked those updates from you all week

Sorry for my lack of updates this week on this. Been busy dealing with some older folks who don’t deal with this kind of stress well.
My get out bag been all set since the moment they expected that thing to turn into a cat5. Early this week I was like “well then I’ll be getting pics of the eyewall” now it’s expected to be far enough away from me that might not be a thing.
I’ve been out during the middle of an eyewall before quite a few years back around when we moved to Florida.
Well, eyewall be looking for some updates here or on my page when you find time brother.

Have a good weekend. Won't be checking in for a while. Doing some last minute checks.
Spent most of my voting power incase I lose power for a bit.
I still go power for time being. Something like 3million without power atm.
Got all our food sorted out with 60lbs of ice just in case. Main refrigerators will only be opened once if we lose power for next 3 to 4 days, mini fridge will be opened for Mondays/Tuesdays food onward.
Cooler all short term todays need and drinks for next few days with ice till it melts for drinks!.
Now just waiting to lose power to move everything quickly to the cooler.
I know this is not related and not likely a care given what you are dealing with --- but the Jays Sept. callup rookie Hernandez just hit his 2nd homer this game -- he has been up a few days, he is looking good.

I'm safe, power grid, cell towers, everything a mess. couple days without power. its going back down soon since they need to repair more stuff.
lots of trees down, pc don't handle well. might be down for a few days more.
