I had to step out to deal with some gold and silver learning tonight but wanted to get this post up for you guys, please chat amongst yourselves, tend the fire, etc etc., - talk soon!
It's always good to learn more about coinage but any circulated Canadian coinage after 1967 is not worth much. Before then, the quarters nickels and dimes were about 90% silver I believe. Then there were the 50 cent pieces and silver dollars too.
The 50 cent pieces are next week's lesson for me.
1967 and prior --- the CAN silver pieces were 80% silver
The person I am learning things with has a ton of it and paper money --- he keeps trying to show off all the paper money I keep telling him I have NO interest in the worthless toilet paper fiat money LOL.

Lol...At the end of the day, fiat paper money is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. It's not worth anything on its own. If you're into silver and gold, you may want to take a look at the physical ounces rather than the coins. Just another option if you are interested.

Crashed out for almost twelve hours. Guess I was in need of some sleep! We've had thunderstorms off and on all day, so I've not been on much anyway. Been so busy, over whelmed with all I need to get done this week, I almost forgot to pop in and say hello!
Bought my first cryptocurrency, which was a brand new coin from one of my Steemit friends. But I think it will be big. Also getting to grips with eobot.
Got myself a job here on Steemit helping edit some posts, to help get them more SBD (and me).
And started a new steemit poetry project that looks like it will take off quite fast.
Phew! Busy week and the girls have been mainly behaving themselves this week.
Good times, I am still having problems all week, right til now, today, posting blogs and replies, everything keeps getting lost here, not posting etc.
