It is indeed a eye opener for a "westerner" like me on how your culture works. Your soap opera seemed to depict a problem that may be more of a common situation than possibly realized.
Television here is more focused on pushing agendas of certain groups and lifestyles, thus creating more problems.If a foreigner were to watch our programming they would think that we are all a bunch of gays or lesbians , that do nothing but find ways to screw each other in business and the bedroom.
