If there is one thing I have noticed throughout the the last year, it is that despite many a platform offered - there definitely seems to have been a clear lack of anything which is specifically for "artists". Yes, the term ART extends broadly, and this I think is half the problem felt by many artists - be it painters, designers, musicians, animators or any other specifics... ALL of the other decentralised platforms are fantastic catalysts for artists - but there again, they tend to get drowned out to some extent because those places and spaces are not ONLY for them and there is SO much "other stuff" floating down the feed too...

Being somewhat of an "artist" myself and coming from a family of creatives, I know all too well how much creatives of ANY kind struggle for recognition in almost ANY avenue of life - because people seldom hold warranted value to the time it takes to create artistic masterpieces! (Sadly so).

So having said that, it is ALWAYS great to discover new developments and just over a week ago, one was launched which I am reeeeally thrilled to share with you!!! There is pretty much a decentralised platform equivalent to every mainstream social media platform - ie. @dlive, @dsound, @steepshot etc. - All of which are fantastic platforms and I have tried and tested them all! But what makes this one unique is that it is SOLELY dedicated to artists!!! (Yes, artists of ALL kinds!!)

It is still in its Beta stage but even still, it has proven wonderful to use!!

I recently launched the profile @ohsnap for my "wannabe photography" and have been using Elegance Exclusively to post - and although the mobile app is still in development, I logged in from chrome on my mobile, and added an icon to my home screen so it is as good and as effective as having an app installed and it has proven totally flawless thus far!

Operating and using it on my mobile phone is as EASY AS PIE!!!

and on my laptop it is equally as user friendly! What I love most is the sheer simplicity of it! It has been designed with the VISUAL aspects at the forefront and the details taking the back seat, which is simply AWESOME!

It is a wonderful platform for artists of all kinds to share as well as engage and over and above that it creates an additional and VERY "niche" audience for your creative content which may have been otherwise missed on the Steemit feed.
