Video Tutorial of My Origami Gift Bag

in #steemitbloggers6 years ago

This is a video tutorial of how to fold an origami gift bag of my own design. If you would prefer the pictorial tutorial you can find it the reposted tutorial on whaleshares here:

https://whaleshares.io/origami/@grace/original-origami-gift-bag

As a bonus if you prefer cubes you can fold two and slot them into each other.

I used to love doing origami as a kid. Now I just fold paper cranes lol. This looks interesting, can't wait to try it out!

Good luck and if you get stuck feel free to come ask questions.

I think it is much easier to follow the video than it is the directions based only on photos-and-text! These are cute little boxes! 😊

Why is that particular base called a "waterbomb" base, though...?

I don't know for certain, but I assumed that it was named after the most common model that can be made. 20180623_143444.jpg
Which can indeed be filled with water just long enough to throw at someone else.

I've never done origami, but it looks interesting

My only advice is to crease firmly. If you make light folds the paper doesn't hold the memory and it makes later steps much more difficult.

Origami is so beautyfull <333 :) I've always admired creations I've come across but felt intimidated to try making any myself. Thank you for the video tutorial..perhaps I will give this a try. If I do...I will make a post about it. Much love!

Let me know if you do. I will send you 0.2 SBD for having the courage to embrace something new.
