RE: My Cheesy Utopia (Steemitbloggers Contest)
Look at dollars, bringing home the cheddar.
But seriously dude, there is a job for you somewhere in the Wisconsin cheese industry.
Your profile caption says, "still trying to find your voice:" I think you found it. I would have never thought an article could have been written about cheese world but you bleu it out of the water.
I curd keep on going, but your cheesey skills whey surpass mine.
Hah! Seriously though, I should probably move there. I’ve visited for work, and holy cow talk about cheese culture. Between the beer and the cheese I’m surprised I was able to fit into my seat on the way home.
Beer, cheese, brats, packer football, supersized cocktails, fish-fry Fridays, and any food or beverage we can turn into a festival. Then an obsession with Harley Davidson motorcycles, the only ones hefty enough to support some Wisconsin wide asses. That's the state for you!
Well.... my wife does have roots in Minnesota... maybe I can make this happen. You make a very convincing sales pitch :P
Hey, I never would have seen myself living in Wisconsin, but the longer I'm here, the more it grows on me. Housing is affordable, the people are nice, the scenery might seem subpar BUT you just have to know where to look. And winters: honestly not that bad. When you live in a state that knows how to handle snow and is good at plowing roads, then it just adds to the pleasure of living in a place where there are 4 real seasons.
Oh I know exactly what you mean about the winters. I grew up father south where 3 inches of snow closed school. Here in New England it’s a whole different ballgame. The first time I drove to work here through a blizzard in my FWD sedan I felt like I had just had an epiphany: when the state actually knows what they're doing it makes a huge difference!
