Battle of the Beards - My Entry
So @necromortis has initiated a Battle of the Beards Competition and I can't resist entering. I know my entry is not the traditional entry, but hey why not.
All I can say is any male can grow a beard, but only real men can wear one like this 😱 😉

Ah! That makes so much sense. Always makes for such a cool photo op and I imagine an incredible sensation?? Thanks for the link as well. Do you mark your queens or by now perhaps you’re just very good at sighting them?
Yup, I do mark them, that (and clipping) are the only way to know for sure that they haven't been superceded. Stay tuned for "Beekeeping for Everyone #4" that should come out tomorrow, for my thoughts on supercedure.

I love it!!! I'm still not that comfortable with bees to let them beard on my face!
It is quite the sensation with all those little feet prickling on your face. The heat they generate is pretty intense too.
