Blessed Day Steemians!!

There are so many kinds of friends, we all hope of having someone you can be with, talk to or even bully. I treasure every person I meet, I am a friendly person but I only consider someone true when I can talk to her about my problems. But for me I consider all people my friend even if they hate me or not. Well it won't hurt if you just share a bit of love right?

Today come with me steemians as me and my very close Co teachers have our annual trip as our way of relieving stress and of course strengthen our friendship through travel. We have been to many places together. But let me share a flashback of how I met this wonderful people.
We all had one goal and that is to be a public school teacher, we were the batch 2013. We were all hired at the same time. We were lucky enough to be together in the same school even if some of us applied in another school but because of the need for teachers we were assigned in Mactan National High school.
It's undeniable that we all click, despite the differences we still understand each others flaws and weaknesses. There was never a moment that we had any misunderstandings.
So for this summer off we go to Malapascua Island home of the thresher shark. Scary to be going to an island that is known for having a shark but for those who have been there of course no worries, the shark is vegetarian, haha actually the shark only eats fish.

Malapascua Here we Come..

Since we had to go to school to continue some work we decided to leave at 6pm. To go to Malapascua you had to ride a bus/van going to MAYA. But for us since we left late for a 4 HR ride we decided to have a stop over at Daan Bantayan at my Co teachers hometown. We decided to sleep for the night since we arrived at 11pm. We planned to leave the next day early. From Daan Bantayan it was a 1hr ride to the port. Two ways to go there either a Bus or jeepney, in our case we rode a jeepney. Talkative as we are a very nice guy talked to us that he has a pumpboat and we can just ride hasslefree. We were so lucky to get a ride to the island for $2 or 100 pesos each and we don't have to wait. It was Manong Bobby he also introduced us to a cheaper resort to stay in. He knows the place since he is a resident of the place.

Welcome to Malapascua Island

Panoramic View of the Island.

The island is actually small you can just tour around the island if you want to. But since it was too hot we couldn't really walk around the place. There was just a little shade. But looking at the foreigners they love the sun so much. It was a nice view seeing different nationalities enjoy one Philippines beautiful island. The kids love the beach they hurriedly asked to swim. The fine sand and the emerald beach was truly a Vitamin to the eye.

I don't wanna miss the chance to take a pose at the wonderful place. I didn't care about getting my skin tanned for we only visit a place once. Anyways it is not hard to find a place to stay in when in Malapascua. There are affordable ones and the residents are very kind, you can actually ask for a discount if you wish to travel in a budget. We got a room good for two that cost $30 and just add $2 for the excess. It was supposed to be $4 but we asked for a discount and they gladly gave. Thanks to Manong Bobby who recommended the place. The room was very spacious it didn't seem like a room for two it was like a family room. It was very huge.

We decided to walk around the place to look for cheaper food. Behind the resort there are small type stores where you can buy cheaper products and visit the market to buy fresh seafood if you wish to cook.

We get to find a barbeque stand and decided to have BBQ for dinner and for $1 or 50 pesos each person we are stuffed.

@georgie and I decided to tour around the place. It as scorching hot but I tried not to mind coz we are here to enjoy and summer isn't summer without the sun.

This was the view from the top. A lot of scuba divers choose this spot to dive. Though the prices are higher in the island it was already expected since things are traveled from the mainland. At night time resorts set up their dinning table in the shore. There is also a live band in one of the resorts were you can enjoy good food and great music.

My husband was trying to be romantic and had a drink while listening to some relaxing music. It was truly an unforgettable experience since I also get to bond with my family and friends but most specially my husband.

My realizations for this trip is to Fill your life with experience not things. Have stories to tell not stuff to show. We only live this life once enjoy it to the fullest.

Thank you steemians for dropping by..
