Scam Alert #1! - I was Scammed 663.843 SBD - Be Prepared! - Enjoy with Troy!
I never thought I would be writing this post or telling this story. I am sad, depressed, in tears and angry ... and even raped ...all in the same moment and here is why.
MY STORY
My account was compromised March 2, 2018 at about 9.15 AM . Good-kama took 22.641 of my steem tokens and gtg.witnesses took a whopping 663.843 of my SBD. I was able to save my steem power before they got to that. I also got a new master key for my account. By redirecting me to steewitt.com rather than steemitcom, they were able to take my funds. In the process they delegate all my crypto to power their bots. I believe they are trading the money on blocktrades. Sadly I have always used my master key rather than my posting key. I did not even know there was a posting key.

I would add that they spammed a number of comments and used my account. I contacted @guiltyparties on the #steemitabuse channel of steemitchat was gracious to help me out. I was able to delete most of them with the exception of four comment of which are still flagged and my reputation was compromised slightly. I am still a 59.

IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME RETRIEVE MY SBD FROM THESE CRIMINALS I WOULD BE GRATEFUL.
I am at a loss of how to proceed. We have contacted support@blocktrades. us. I do not know what else I can do. Any suggestions?
PLEASE NOTE
Never be logged in with your master key unless you absolutely need to.
Use your posting key for comments and writing post.
Use your active key for wallet transactions.
You will find them in your wallet section of your Steemit account.
Make triple sure that the web address is Steemit before you click.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about in the above statements do a search and get to know what they mean, or ask a friendly minnow/dolphin/whale to point you in the right direction. Don’t put this off.

I just cant believe some assholes would be so fucking cruel that they would steal your hard earned steem and SBD. Pure scum. Where ever these bastards are right now I send out serious waves of justice, may they be scammed in return and have horrible luck untill they make ammends to the universe for this thoughtless selfish deed.

That is rough man! What a hard lesson to learn. Honestly, I used to just use the master key for everything too.

Those criminals must be put to jail, we are trying very hard to earn our sbd and sp here and I dont know why are these people doing this.. Its just not right..
It is not right. But they are an advanced operation and can channel money across several countries. As steemit is decentralized they can get by with it and they smell money. They have no conscience or morals. Thanks my friend.

Thank god I read this comment, I was like WTF @good-karma is a witness!! LOL well, whoever goog-kama is, I hope they get theirs. SOrry to hear you were stolen from, I know the feeling, I had between 12-$15,000 stolen from me in Hawai'i a few years ago. Amount is estimated because not all of it was cash, a lot of it was electronics and solar equipment.

Thank you for your kindness and selfless love. I do not understand why folks are this way. I will be doing a few more posts/updates on this event soon. The SBD was traded on Blocktrades nd traced to Romania, Switzerland and Amsterdam. They are high tech and I will share this in a future post as I want to keep this subject alive. Hi Troy the donation is a pleasure. I blame steemit for what happened to you. Having our wallets available for all to see is a gift to hacker's. We don't need to see one another's wallets, maybe just SP. I'll be changing the way I operate from now on which unfortunately going to cost me. I lost 8 STEEM from overnight trading already. I just checked all the steemit tag list and no tags for "scams" & "hacking" - how convenient. Maybe consider checking https://steemit.com/created/hacked periodically to see current threats. From now on I will send any funds directly to my savings account where at least they will have some protection. I went to the phishing website and I see they are linked directly to all live steemit posting etc. I wonder if this is a major blockchain flaw. Here are 2 images I took:

I agree with you. Having our wallets in plain view is not good. We would not do that if we were in public. Great point. I will use that in my next blog about the scam.
