The Downvote War between NanoCheeZe & ThatAnimeSnob
There was a downvote war between NanoCheeZe (@nanocheeze) & ThatAnimeSnob (@thatanimesnob) and is a pettiest of war, a war that started because somebody commit the most heinous of crimes: disagree with NanoCheeZe.
How this conflict started?
Very simple really, for whatever turn of fate ThatAnimeSnob found this topic Dragon Ball Super episode 126 - Surpass Even a god! Vegeta's Desperate Blow!! GREATEST EPISODE EVER BTW!! VEGETA FANS GONNA FREAK!!! (AI in a Matrix Review) - no spoilers (quite the long title) the post consist of him saying that he liked the episode, some comparison with "AI in a Matrix" whatever that is, which have nothing to do with the show itself and asking the reader to check his other content and check the episode in one of the link he provide. Pretty devoid of any valuable content if you ask me.
Anyway the Snob does not find anything valuable in it either so he downvote it.
And that should have been the end of it, but apparently NanoCheeZe can't take any form negativity, because by his own admission:
So this troll named @thatanimesnob flagged a post last night because he said it contained no content? He just doesn't understand it, so I flagged him back 3 times as a warning. And left it at that. He decided to go and flag everything I had posted. So I returned the favor...

He go and in retaliation downvote 3 topic of Snob and call him a clown in an unrelated recent comment, and downvote that one too for good measure.
- At 2018-02-04T09:54:45 Snob cast the first downvote.
- At 2018-02-04T11:09:03, 2018-02-04T11:09:06 and 2018-02-04T11:09:09 NanoCheeZe cast its 3 downvotes comment at 2018-02-04T11:10:21 and downvote it at 2018-02-04T11:10:30

How is a 3 or 4 for one fair in any way? And more so when his reason for it is revenge and not because he found something bad on it? I wonder.
ThatAnimeSnob as the controversial person he is would not take this clear abuse of power and the system and roll with it, so he choose to

Where he explain the situation which both the evidence and NanoCheeZe statement support and invite his follower to downvote NanoCheeZe's topic in the same manner that he did to Snob.
And here is where I get involved on this mess, though I also take some part on it by downvoting the post that started all this, I did so because the reason I expressed above, and did not take part in the mass downvoting of NanoCheeZe's topic as some of the other members of Snob fanbase choose to indulge into by their own free will starting at 2018-02-04T20:15:15 until around 2018-02-06T16:53:39.
Of course NanoCheeZe would no be happy with it, and since the downvotes began he start calling every single one of those persons a bot from Snob, which we are not, but to be fair we kinda looks like, but I would explain that next.
ThatAnimeSnob's fanbase on Steemit
Most of Snob's fan on this site come from his follower on his YouTube channel where he invite them to follow him, and he only ask of them to like his post so he get Steemit money so he can pay the bill and continued to make the videos, just like Patreon where you give money to your favorite content creators for him/her could continue to make said content or as a show of appreciation.
Snob introduce his followers to Steemit with this video on December 4th
Later on December 8th, he saw a opportunity of making real money with this site so he make another video
This is where he invite his followers to join this site and everything I said above. Which is a good deal for them, with minimal effort they get to help Snob and they get more videos from him.
As most of his followers aren't content creator or have an interest in this crypto thing themselves it mean that they would be pretty inactive here. (I, for example prefer my entertainment in video form)
But as they weren't active enough, Snob make another video to incentive more participation on January 9th
And that is why Snob's fanbase looks the way it looks.
Lack of self awareness
Let me repeat myself here, NanoCheeZe started all this mess by going revenge downvoting Snob, now he is complaining that the same is happening to him.
If there is a lesson here is perhaps that: don't do other what you don't want other do to you.
Maybe Snob should no have gone so overboard with it, but what is done is done, and I'm no saying that Snob is a saint either as NanoCheeZe is more than happy to tell you about, but don't forget that he started this mess.

NanoCheeZe's bot?
On the topic of calling others that go mass downvoting the other bots of the former, I have to mention the followings users @cybershrapnel @xtdevelopment @threadripper @xaunya which also go on a rampage downvoting Snob topics as you can see here:

And a the funny thing is that xtdevelopment is an actual bot which make you wonder if the reason why he think that all that people are bot is because he himself is using bots, and therefore he is projecting unto Snob this fact.
NanoCheeZe's rampage
In one of his initial topic about this, he said that he calm himself and would ignore this, but soo much for that, he since then have go posting everywhere how I and other are Snob's bot and now he himself is doing the mass downvoting on Snob and his followers.
He even add to said list of "bots", user such as @hououinkyouma , which joined the site before Snob and have it own extensive body of work here; and @medicinemerchant that initially come here, just as myself, as Snob fan but choose make his own body of work here and even got a better reputation than Snob. But he does not care for it and want to destroy them too because they're not on his side, and have committed the terrible crime of disagree with NanoCheeZe.

What is in the future?
What would the future bring to those involved here, it would involve a change in the system given that downvote here have weight more that just expressing disagreement and have an impact on the income of those affected? who knows...
But for sure NanoCheeZe is not going to learn anything, more so now that he is better than ever.
All of Nanocheeze's followers are follow-backs. He has followed over ten thousand people (that he recently unfollowed to make him look less like spam) and some of them follow back. That's how he gets followers. If you look at his videos, the upvote count is very, very low. The majority of his posts have less upvotes and less value than mine do, despite me only having 100 followers and him 4000. His only value seems to be from bots. Sure, everyone uses bots at some point, but he never had any breakout posts.
It shows that the stupid can't make good use of this platform. Number of followers does not matter. Dedicated followers do.
