A 1 year Contract of my marketing job with Cavendish University came to an end earlier this month. There are no hopes of renewing the contract. I have now become a full time steemian. Bottle of thanks to @ned with his co-founder Dan Larimer for having come up with such a wonderful steem crypto based platform that is rescuing several youths and lots of unemployed people from such a grave problem of unemployment. With steemit, am very glad that i have a back up and have not turned out to be a jobless folk.

I have been working as a marketing agent for Cavendish University for a short contract period of 1 year which has officially come to an end this month. I have been working for that university as a temporary/half time worker earning a net payment of 282,000shs a month which is roughly about $78. This has been under-payment for a person like me who possesses a university degree in Business Administration with a specialisation in Marketing. Under payment in so many jobs is quite a diverse problem is this nation where many people are very dissatisfied of the kind of jobs they are doing.

There is a saying that goes like:

Give credit where it’s due.

Therefore am so grateful to the University for having provided me with a platform that has enabled me to exercise my natural sales ability and the skills that I acquired through my course of studies at the university. I have always been reaching out to the different Schools, making presentations in their halls about the university offers. Am now diverting all this to Steemit where I intend to make epic presentations about Steemit to the many various people in this nation in a bid to win over to the steem-blockchain and also help them acquire knowledge about crypto.
From today onwards I have become a full time steemian. Concentrating more on Steemit and looking forward to work extra harder to ensure that I contribute more to the platform and help the steem-community in several possible ways.

Though I have always been active on this platform alongside my busy schedules. I pledge to always remain active busy interacting with the steem-blockchain no matter the discouraging price falls and any other challenges that may arise along the way.
Steemit has been a great blessing to me. I joined this platform that is late January this year after having learned about it from a friend @jaraumoses. Am now making 4 months on the platform. I have achieved a lot so far in my course of interaction/participation on this platform.

I have managed to inspire and introduce many other people who have joined this platform suchas @ireneblessing @shinejean @espoirk @wanasoloben @blessing100 @natsemily @ruthnatala @shinenap @nakiganda @evangelistjotham @ryan12 @mercyfayth and many more.
Of recent I bought a laptop which I now use for steeming. If you have been following and reading through the content I have always created, you realise that there has been a great drastic improvement on my content. I atleast now write about 1000 words for every post I publish.
Am so grateful to the Korean community for being very supportive to my growth journey and activities on this platform. Though I will not mention the names of those great steemians. On behalf of the Uganda Community I again say thank you so much for the committed and consistent support you have so far rendered to us and that which are still rendering to us.

Am going to continue and go deeper in promoting Steemit/steem to University Students, Business men and woman, the people on the street, and each and every person in my circles and those that I meet every day. I believe introducing many to Steemit is an act of gratitude to what it has been to my life. Many others should join in and also partake of the benefits of the platform.

My future prospects

• Holding crypto conferences to equip and enlighten many people about crypto and its various dynamics.
• Coming up with a direct exchange system for steem to our local currency.
• Establishing a Steemit office which is well equipped with laptops and a free stable wifi to help many steemians to get started and keep active on the steem-blockchain.
• Establishing various Steemit communities in the different districts with their respective leaders and mentors.
