Steemit is experiencing interesting times.
If you check out the stats by arcange; you will see that they are having a bear of a time retaining users. They appear to be under 50,000 active users a day. I wonder how many of the active users are bots?
The loss of users is having a cascading effect with the average payout per post plunging.
A few of the witnesses are worried about paying their hosting fees. This is shaping up as a make it or break it season for SteemIt.
I guess the whales should be happy. As the minnows, redfish and plankton flee the platform, the whales are getting a bigger piece of the rewards pool.
SteemIt is experience interesting times. Interesting times can make platforms better; So, I am sticking it out.
