How Many Comments You Upvote Each Day? Why?

Normally, I upvote 5-10 comments per day. I consider this amount pretty low but because of my low vote worth I can't afford to upvote as many comments as I like, without depleting my VP. I think, a worthy comment deserve at least an upvote worth of 0.1$ and my current upvote worth is 0.2$ at 100% VP so every time I upvote comments it's usually with a VP of 55-100%. This inherently imposes a limit on the number of comments, that I can upvote daily.
I future, I wish to increase my comment upvoting frequency, keeping in mind following two imminent happenings.
1. Increase in steem value, which will cause an increase in my upvote worth thereby allowing me to upvote more comments daily.
2. Growth of my steemit account and me powering up.

Now to the question, why I upvote comments. Well, for me upvoting a comment is a way of recognizing the time and effort someone has spent reading, understanding and then giving their valuable input about the matter at hand.
