How the BIGGEST upvote on Steemit Looks Like
The @steemit account has more Steem Power than ALL of the other steemit accounts combined! That's 70+ MILLION STEEM POWER!
Here is how an upvote from @steemit would look like:
$36,093.46 for a single upvote!!!
I calculated this with the steemnow.com website. I found out about this site today and as soon as I came across it I just couldn't resist typing in "steemit" as the username !
And then I got curious. Did @steemit ever give anybody an upvote?
If you click on -> @steemit <- you will see that this account has only made 1 post and that is over a year ago, since then it has been seemingly inactive.
But then I took a closer look using steemdb.com database block explorer, and this account is actually active but only used for internal transfers of money to accounts like @steemit2.
And then, I did found this:
6 months ago one of the devs must have been using the @steemit account when they upvoted a post by mistake! As you see they quickly realized their mistake and removed the upvote and changed it to 0%... @richardcrill has the honor of being the only person to ever receive an upvote from the biggest account on steemit!
Just imagine, with 1 upvote from that account you could instantly be the # 1 trending post on steemit's home page AND break the record for the biggest payout a post has ever received.
Unfortunately, that will never happen.
Oh my gosh! All I can say is that I am a tad jealous right now :D How on earth does a post actually accumulate that much?!?! What's scary is that in the future, posts might normally look like that, if people have like millions of followers.. :0

Wow x-p youve made a great pay and some great info shared. Unbelievable info provided. I didn't even look at it like that and that some real kool information. I really wonder if i got a 100% upvote from steemit.i would quit my job after the 7 days payout, invest idn steem power and concentrate on steemit for good. I love dreaming. I wonder of anyone had the ability to crest that effect on STEEMIT board? Hmmmm i wonder

I don't think you are taking into account why the HF 19 is making the $ decrease over time.
Well, it's not necessarily 'decrease' over time.. It's more like 'fluctuation'..
If the potential payout is influenced by the market price of the currency, then it could potentially rise too :)

0.001 is the smallest amount you can send, it is just a messaging system, since you can not send PMs on steemit
