Steemit Thoughts: Less is More.

After the recent changes that have taken place in Steemit, it is possible to see that the number of users (and consequently, of publications) has been decreasing... But what should be a headache has turned in a new direction.

I remember a while ago the number of nonsense posts was a lot more massive than it currently is (yes, unfortunately they still exist), but things seem to be slowly changing and the experience of browsing this platform is becoming more useful and interesting.

Fewer users could be a big setback to keeping Steemit running appropriately with all the gears... But what can be noticed is that even though many of them are inactive, those who have struggled to make room around here are getting better results.

The reasons for writing and interacting in this ecosystem vary from person to person, after all, each has its own personal motivations for being here: it may be for recognition, for money, for having the opportunity to express and spread your thoughts and ideas broader, for acquiring more knowledge and so many other reasons.

One point I would like to emphasize is the creation of tribes and their respective tokens, because in addition to causing a revolution in the issue of rewards, this idea was responsible for creating a connection between users who post about common interests and also for organizing and further categorize the types of content that are published. So, whoever jumped out of the boat before this news happened certainly lost a lot of things.

Any kind of excess, as in the real world, is harmful and in some way, anything that is not bringing benefits needs to be dispensed with. Finally, if the number of users has decreased, it can certainly mean something good (and I'm saying it based on what I've been realizing).

So considering all these reasons, it's a fact that less is more (especially in a place that provides all sorts of content so comprehensively every day). So overhauling the system and funneling the rules can cause some momentary frustration... But once the storm is gone, the feeling of well-being comes.
