"STEEMIT TALK" Podcast (001) with @winstonwolfe & @sykochica
We were talking about Steemit amongst ourselves when we had the idea to bring the discussion to you. We talk about our own experiences with the platform, as well as posts we've read, and people we've talked to.
Expect to see more episodes like this, and - if the response is good - we will continue to improve our production quality and maybe even bring on guest Steemit members who may be in or pass through the area to join in on the discussion. This episode's effort was somewhat off-the-cuff, but in coming discussions we will be doing our best to continually raise the bar.
In the meantime, if you have any ideas of things we can talk about, leave a comment and let us know!

Pay attention to the Active Pages, and forget about the money.
Are there any topics people would like to hear discussed? While we have been preparing various things, I'd love to hear from the community. We're just people who've found they love steemit and enjoy talking about it.
Hi again @skyochica ! Like the "Steemit Talk" (great idea btw) seems like there should be a "Steemit Talk" for every Hashtag coupled w/ a live chat channel. The other day you mentioned the podcast in chat, So I will be listening to all of them in order and will try get involved in the future.
One thing that I would like to hear a discussion on . The difference in views from people of different ages and how we tend to discredit people based on their age. I believe it's a hard discussion because it will bring out things that we really don't like to talk about outloud. Ie. When you and I talk about AI. You are a professional (Age39), I have been reading and discussing AI since early childhood (Now 55), when it was all Sci-Fi. Now Ai is part of our everyday life ... Point is, that you and I can come to an understanding of credibility during conversation because you will realize I am pretty well versed in AI from nothing more than the number of books that I have read, that more than likely you have read also in pursuit of your career.
If someone 20 yrs old joins in on the conversation there seems to be a credibility issue interjected. For the sake of conversation let's suppose that it is true that; Younger people think that older people have a lack of understanding of what's going on now or today, or lack of relevant info. As older people we don't believe that most younger people have read enough or studied the subject enough and will only contribute superficial information to the conversation.
Even if this is all on a subconscious level I do believe it is there. I would like to bring this out into the open and somehow be able to come to an understanding and build a bridge of credibility so we all can lean more and have better, more constructive conversations ! I love hearing younger people talk and would love to be treated as a source of knowledge instead of being dismissed because of my age. This is a horrible trend that needs to stop.
That is one idea for a conversation, that I believe that could help Steemit.com become what we all want it to be.

It's nice to have relatable content to align ourselves with for self confidence and motivation. Thanks!
Hey, thanks for listening!
I like what are you doing here :)
Thank you! It seemed like something that currently wasn't being done, at least on the slightly more newbie side of things.
And this will only improve. As mentioned, this was very spur of the moment. We were in mid-conversation and said "we need to be recording this", and then immediately turned on a recorder and did just that. Next week, the production value will be better, the topics we discuss will be better and much more structured, and we'll try to have Mr. @giftedgaia join us, who is an incredibly intelligent individual who I, personally, would love to see what he has to say about Steemit.
This was really fun to do and I can't wait to see where it goes.
This was just fun to do!
I agree. This was very spur of the moment, so I'm looking forward to bumping up our production and content quality for our discussion next week.
Don't forget to tell @giftedgaia !
Will do! I'm sure he'd love to talk about his drones
Absolutely. He's extremely intelligent, and I imagine he would have a lot to offer to the conversation. As a new member, he could present some very good questions.
would this be up in soundcloud?
It certainly can be. We decided to put it on YouTube just because it makes it immediately available to everyone right from the post, and we can slap a logo onto it. Does SoundCloud embed into Steemit posts?
We can always just leave the YouTube embedded and just include a link to the soundcloud in the post
That might not be a bad idea. This will give people the opportunity to download it.
RSS Feed URL please...
The show has not aired since July 2017. There is no more RSS feed. Sorry.
