:) I've been experiencing 502's too lately. The bots are still present but mostly in the #introduceyourself section.
Wonder if I should bot bait and add #introduceyourself to the tags.
bots mainly comment, not upvote. Won't bring you any value I think.

There are upvote bots, that vote up anything that matches certain huerisitics. One of the reasons introduceyourself is so popular is because people are really, really, lazy and there are some simple bots out there mostly focusing on upvotes :D
Giving it a try, currently have 20 upvotes and off the "active list" will be an interesting experiment anyways.

I'll check you out, upvote you and in the meantime I'll keep link spamming this every chance I get, thus drawing in more and more people.
The hope is we all link spam eachother and go to eachothers blogs to upvote and continue the linkspamming. This way we can all find some good content that isn't already trending yet, but basically forcing it to trend via a social snowball.
