Thank You To The Steemit Team For Listening To The Community: Hardfork 19steemCreated with Sketch.

I know you guys probably get a lot of people telling you what should be doing on here. Users who tell you what features they want, what changes to make and what things to add. It is like we own the company :p. Maybe some people get frustrated and word things in a less than pleasant matter. I'm sure it gets frustrating. But you guys are actually listening. These things take time, a fact that we do not always appreciate, but at the end of the day you are working on what needs to be done. We needed to spread out the voting power for the good of the site and you guys did it. It probably wasn't easy but you did it. And as you might have seen in the feed the following day or two there were a lot of happy people.

Besides fixing the on-boarding process, which, you guys are already working on for the next hardfork , the site works. Yes there can be more features and yes there is a problem with filtration (this is a problem that EVERY content site has to deal with) but we will improve as we go. It is still early and new features will be added as we grow. But the site, today, has a strength over any other blogging site that is out there.

So thank you @ned @steemitblog and every one who has worked their ass off to get this update off the ground and give the community what they asked for.

It is super fantastic that they are actually listening to the community and working with the community. I feel like so many different fall apart because of the lack of communication and working together and thankfully we don't have that here. This will allow us to grow and get better!!!
