Actually, your post points out the problem with the system,... What we need is people voting on what they feel is good content, and not on what they think will hit big. If everybody where to vote the way you describe, we will have a umber of accounts trending no matter what they post, and great content standing no chance,...
Read posts before you vote, and vote on what you like, rather than hoping to make 0,002 SP by jumping on the right bandwagon,...
The new user reputation ranking exacerbate this. You can just surf the new post for high reputations. I have noticed the post with reps under 6 are getting even feet votes than they used to.
Well, if you follow an user i guess you follow him because you like what he posts.. It's up to you how to apply this method...
I fully support following users, and voting for stuff you like. I do not support blindly voting for a whale's post because you suppose that it will be voted on by many other people (for the same reason,...).
Mybe like a shortcut to boost earning
But since i joining steem,theres no any easy way to make shortcut :-)
