1- Invest in Steem
I'm awaring you about the importance of investment in Steem. Not everyone understands the importance. But if you do, and spend your own money and convert it to Steem Power it would be beneficial for you. You can invest by setting your posts to 100% powerup and you can convert your SBD to Steem and Steem to steem power. I'm Powering up and encouraging the people regarding it.
2- Follow the work you like, don't copy
I see people copying other's work and breaking the rules. It's unethical and wrong. You are stealing other's work. If you like some work, observe it and follow but kindly don't copy paste. It would give you nothing except humiliation and you would be downvoted by @endingplagiarism and many other accounts soon.
3- Produce quality content
This is obvious thing but one that needs mention. Whether you are a good writer, photographer, or videographer, make sure you put your post inspiring. Steemit needs more good content creators. You can post anything you want and you are good at and of course that must be Plagiarism free.
4- Participate in different contests
Participating in different contest is fun. I usually take part in contests. Explore the communities. I refer you the posts that is the List of Steemit Communities Categorized by Their Subjects and have a look on different communities and their activities going on and participate. There are always several contests running on the steemit. Follow @pennsif for the updates regarding contests and different new as well. You can select the contest as per your interests.
5- Be patient, take it as other social media platforms
You will get the reward surely but the key is patience. Take it as you take other social media platforms. mostly people take it as a money making machine website and the result of those people are just disappointments. People lose their hopes and stop working. You should keep working and be patient. Take it as other social media platforms and enjoy. But to be honest in my opinion it's far better than other social networks. It gives you reward. I'm addicted to Steemit now and can't leave it and won't leave it.
