Hello Steemians,

In last 1 year, Steemit has truly changed, right from the trending page to its core. Nothing much on the front-end but a lot of things on the back-end. Started with SMT to the Hiveminds, every passing second its getting more better, more adaptable to every person. People are getting more involved in SMT and SMT is not yet officially launched. So much love for SMT and its application is driving me furious. Recently, Steemhunt and Actifit are doing something similar and about to dive more deeper as SMT-Announcement hits the trending page. However, there is no official confirmation so I have no clue on official release date. Steemit is changing and the best thing is that everyone is contributing whether he/she is minnow, whale or devs!

SMT

• Many of us don't know what is SMT or why is this topic so hot! In general words, "SMT - Smart Media Tokens are the tokens which will extend the adaptability and application of steem blockchain."
• Take an example, if you are running a site and want to introduce some coins just like Steem/SBD to reward your users then you can simply add SMT to your site. Just think how cool it is to reward your platform users.
• SMT not just only benefit the Steem blockchain but also to the users who are adopting it. It will expand the application in different sectors.
• You can develop an app and introduce SMT to reward people via tokens offering or SMT based tokens. It is going to be a new way of developing an app in a fresh and stable decentralized economic.
• You can build your own community just like Steemit!
• On the other hand, Hivemind is emerging as a game changer for all the programmers and devs. Hivemind focusses on core ecosystem development.

Developing Communities

• Most of us started with zero even without knowledge or experience of blogging but we are getting more better and generating more contents day by day.
• We started alone and now we are driving a community, helping out other people to ensure the "minnow-whale" balance.
• We are interacting more and more, understanding this blockchain and getting a closer look at what future is going to be.
• Just like human-origin-experiment, we got together and found our-self grouped under a tag, under a community and ensuring that most of us get the benefit.
• Communities are getting together to deal with bigger problems and sorting/solving it out. We are developing! And one of the fastest growing smart community.

Apps - Dapps

• Dapps or decentralized apps are getting a part of regular life, I use most of the steem blockchain dapps and they are tightly held with my daily life.
• It starts with Actifit - Fitness app! and go on with Esteem app. We are so fast that we developed our own youtube @dtube and our own twitch @dlive!
• Dapp's creators like Steemhunt, Actifit, Esteem and many more are creating and distributing their own tokens for every contribution they are getting from people.
• We are hiring or we are getting hired! It's our fast developing world - Steemit which is hitting miles and opening endless possibilities.
• We are changing the traditional way, we are getting more smart and futuristic, we are getting more socialized, we are getting closer to ourselves!
• We are Steemitians - We are Future!
