Arrived in San Francisco early this morning to go to Google Launchpad to give a Crypto 101 workshop which will be (partially) shared later after it is presented and shared at the event. Will also be spending some time meeting with some other people while visiting here. Just a quick update to share some links and will report with more details later during the trip.

Session Three - Cryptocurrency 101

Speaker: Virtual Growth & Cybercode Twins

Crypto 101 to present to new(er) users that may have some or no knowledge but show interest in learning about cryptocurrencies. To introduce people to the possibilities of micro transactions, decentralized ledgers, and/or DACs based on the group's interest and knowledge. Want to help people understand more about cryptocurrencies as it helps us learn more and seeing benefit and value that people may find and get from cryptocurrencies. Part of the problem is the foreignness of the overall concept and learning curves in use and technical understanding. Goal is to provide some basic knowledge to people to get them interested in exploring and learning about cryptocurrencies. This may include for example: What is cryptocurrency?, Bitcoin wallet, sending receiving cryptocurrency, exchanging cryptocurrency on an exchange. Believe we may provide a basic foundation of understanding of cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, bitshares, and others. To provide basic knowledge so that people may explore getting their own downloadable wallet, understand how to transfer value with cryptocurrency, and exchange between different cryptocurrencies and potentially into fiat currency.

Will be talking about cryptocurrency and of course Steem(it).
