Why haven't you joined rewards-pool?
The idea is simple, you delegate 250 sp to the vote bot and every day it picks 8 random members of the pool to give a full upvote. Like a daily raffle. I won it the first day I joined. There is a cooling off period where you can't win two days in a row, depending on how many users and how big the vote the cooling off period will be longer, but look at the potential vote value if we get 100 members

Here a screen shot from one of yesterdays's winners from Steemworld who scored a $3.79 vote. The amount of vote power you lose from delegating 250 sp is only a few cents, this is for sure a better use of of that steempower, in my humble opinion.

This is for everyone, Minnows, Whales, everyone. Even if we never got another member the almost 4 dollar upvote now is pretty sweet. Also the chart above does not take into account that many members are upvoting the bot account's posts to increase its SP. I don't see how you can lose on this, but if you don't like it you can just un-delegate your SP and you get it back in a week if I'm not mistaken. Also if the value of Steem rises so does the bots vote value, the numbers above were based on price of steem about a week ago I think. Imagine 200 members and 5 dollar Steem! This has the potential to be huge.
I just Won today on @rewards-pool. Not sure of the hierarchy on Steemit, but I'm just a micro-organism. If I can Win, anyone can.

I won on rewards-pool today, so excited! I would not be surprised as more people join, the rewards getting up over $10. With a 3 day cool-down, that could mean up to $20 a week - for a 250 delegation? Nothing else like it on steemit! @ironshield

That's cool, but the 250 SP is huge especially for a plankton like me.
Having a barrier to entry keeps out the low hanging fruit who just plagiarize articles. I scanned thru a few accounts and they mostly minnows and people with low rep scores, none of the blogs i saw win were undeserving. I just think if they let people in for 25 steempower it would attract shitposters and make community hate us. Good luck on steemit

You are doing it wrong. Even here, your vote is worth zero cents so it is nothing for you to give it freely, but you didn't vote on my post. That makes me not want to go and upvote your blogs, or even your comment. You already have it in your mind that you can't and it's not my job to convince you to stay here's 1 cent though
Well, you are right if you say my vote doesn't worth much but it's completely wrong to deny the fact that I upvoted your post here. It may not have added anything to you but denying it kills the zest ? I upvoted you before making my first comment here. That was not a bait for you to upvote my posts but because I like the idea you explained here.
If you want to succeed follow the huge accounts around and comment on their posts and use the money you get from upvoted comments to buy votes for your posts. No matter how good your blog is you arent going to get discovered by generous whale. Even putting money in I invested like maybe 300 or 400 dollars and my account is now worth 4 thousand. You dont have to invest but it's going to take a lot of 3 cent blogs to find your way to success. Sorry i didn't see your upvote though, my bad. I gave you an upvote for your blog
