Steemit Secret: First ad blocker developed for the Steemit Trending page by @jga (Custom Feed)
Das wohl umstrittenste Thema bezüglich Steemit (neben der Reward-Kurve) sind die sogenannten Upvote-Bots, wo man gegen Bezahlung Upvotes ersteigern und so den eigenen Artikel weiter nach oben oder sogar auf die Trending-Seite pushen kann.
Im Prinzip gibt es dieses Phänomen nicht nur auf Steemit, sondern auf allen sozialen Netzwerken und auch bei der Google-Suche und heißt "Werbung" oder "Sponsored Post", was jetzt nicht per se schlecht ist, da es auch eine Einnahmequelle für Steemit darstellt, aber das wäre ein Thema für einen eigenen Beitrag.
Fakt ist, dass durch exzessives Vote-Selling die Qualität der Trending-Seite abnimmt und teilweise schlechte Beiträge dadurch noch mehr Votes bekommen.
Das Coole ist aber, dass es jetzt den ersten Ad Blocker für Steemit gibt. Das Projekt heißt Custom Feed, wurde von @jga entwickelt und ermöglicht, einen eigenen Feed zusammenzustellen und bietet zahlreiche Filtermöglichkeiten inklusive dem Entfernen von Content, der von Bezahl-Bots upgevotet wurde, was im Prinzip einem Werbeblocker entspricht.
Du kannst Custom Feed selbst testen. Blende die "Search Options" ein und aktiviere "No upvoting bots".
Von den ersten 10 Beiträge wurden 4 Werbebeiträge herausgefiltert.
Vielleicht könnte man in Zukunft einige Filtermöglichkeiten von Custom Feed direkt auf steemit.com übernehmen, beziehungsweise würde es enorm helfen, wenn man den bezahlten Content besser als Werbung mit "Sponsored" kennzeichnen würde, so wie das andere Netzwerke auch handhaben.
ps. Ich schaue mir übrigens lieber die Hot-Seite an, da sie mir von der Qualität organischer vorkommt als das, was man auf Trending sieht.
Probably the most controversial topic about Steemit (besides the reward curve) are the upvote bots, which offer to buy upvotes at an auction, in order to push your content upwards or even to the Trending page.
In principle, this phenomenon exists not only on Steemit, but on all social media sites as well as on the Google Search, and is called "Advertising" or "Sponsored Post", which is not bad by itself, as it is also a source of income for Steemit but this is another topic.
In fact excessive vote-selling reduces the quality of the Trending page, and in some cases, low-quality posts get even more votes and money.
However, the cool thing is that there is now the first Ad Blocker for Steemit. The project is called Custom Feed, was developed by @jga, and allows to create its own feed and offers numerous filtering options including the removal of paid bot upvoted content, which in principle is an ad blocker.
You can test Custom Feed by yourself:
Just go to the Search Options and enable "No upvoting bots".
From the first 10 posts 4 ads were filtered out.
Perhaps it is possible to integrate Custom Feed into steemit.com in the future, and it would also help a lot, if paid upvoted content were marked as "Sponsored" on Steemit like on other social networks.
ps. I personally prefer the Hot tab, because the posts there look more organic to me than on Trending.

Auf der trending bin ich so gut wie nie unterwegs. Voten werd ich in Zununft auch manuell durchführen.

Oh danke für den informativen Beitrag! Habe von 21 Artikeln zwar auch schon 2 durch Upvote-Bots geboostet, aber was da teilweise in den Trendings erscheint ist für mich persönlich nicht nachvollziehbar.
Das finde ich eine ziemlich coole Idee, da ich mir inzwischen die Trendingpage gar nicht mehr anschaue, weil da eben nur noch oben ist, wer am meisten bezahlt.
Im Prinzip dürfte das ja auch einfach zu machen sein. Man lässt das Programm einfach die gängigen Upvote Bots rausrechnen.

Interessantes Tool :) Wirklich zu empfehlen und hoffe das es generell mehr Filter Optionen für die Steem-Blockchain Beiträge in der Zukunft gebracht werden. Es wäre ja auch cool wenn der Author entscheiden könnte auf welchem Interface man seinen Beitrag sehen kann.
Mehr Filteroptionen und eine Kennzeichnung von bezahlten Inhalten wäre wünschenswert.
Vielleicht sehen wir ja dieses Feature in ein paar Jahren hier auf Steemit :P Womöglich wird irgendein Interface diese Features schneller implementieren oder wir müssen unser eigenes Interface schreiben :)
