PRODUCTION CHECK LIST
In my quest for my perfect InHouse app, i mention in the previous post check Here, that i stated to develop a production checklist, using GoogleSheets and Google Forms.
Here I gonna share my process to get an easy in house application, for studio inventory, production gear inventory, clients, budget, and so on...
Today, while surfing youtube, i found a really nice tutorial about how to create a google form from a google spreadsheet using a script.
After seing this tut, i just adapted what i ve learned to my needs.
First i created a Google Form, like the video explains.
Then I created a Google SpeadSheet, arranging the questions and answers to my gear list or production needs.
Had to rethink a little the way of showing the information but i got it.
After Running the script over my spreadsheet, I went to my Google Form that i m using for the script, and I my check list ready for use.
Well not quite ready.
Had to change a couple of things like color theme;
Change some parameters like in Date Start and End, had to change type data. Had to clean some columns, basically some cosmetics.
One thing extra i made was to connect my form answeres to my Google Spreadsheet.
That way i can use this data to create reports.
Maybe a topic for part 3 of InHouseApps
Thanks for your time!
