ENRICHING LIVES THROUGH STEEMIT
I am just less than 1 months on Steemit and i can testify that Steemit enriches lives directly and indirectly.
Today through Steemit, i was able to empower a student in need by name Florence Akpan of University of Uyo, Uyo with 40% of her school fees worth $ 27.8 US Dollar.
Want prompted me doing this?
Florence is an intelligent girl with high Academic Performance, also an excellent writer.
I was told about Florence inability to pay her school fees and she happened to be a winner of my a written essay competition.
Edet Bassey the brain behind the essay competition made a move to support her by sorting for sponsors. I decided to support the movement by donating 40% of her school fees worth 27.8 US Dollar.
I will once again want to thank @samstickkz for introducing me to Steemit. This is a multiplying Impact you have created in my life so as to be enrich other lives positively.
Thanks to @ejemai for inspiring Steemit in Nigeria through the Project 20 Million Naija.

Ok. I donated only 40% of 69.4 US Dollar which is 27.8 US Dollar. So what is left is 41.6 US Dollar equivalent to 4.16 Steem Dollar

Curious. How did she get USD from Steem / SBD. Was it through BTC to Paypal or by some other means. If it was BTC, did you pay for the network fee? Love to learn more on how to utitlise alt coins as cash.

I base in Nigeria where we operate with the Naira Currency (#), so i sold my SBD equivalent to 27.8 USD (10,000 Naira) to a fellow steemian.
