Video Making and Advocacy
Under this topic we were taught on how to make video on ourselves on what we want to promote on social media. Each participants need to prepare one video and post it on social media such as facebook, instagram and twiter. Some of the participants were quite good. You can search their post on facebook and twiter #DTPIPA2018.
This quite new to me because I never post video about myself on Facebook. Further more making video on my own. But, for the sake of this training, I just posted my first video, with my big face on it..yeah.
Making Video on Your Mobile
-Always good to have second phone for filming and personal.
-for transfering file use OTG or cable to connect.
-holding phone horizontal when doing documentation
-get gadget for more stabilisation of video.
-get in close with sound -avoid background sound.
-mobile-video editing apps like Quik, KineMaster etc.
-plan your shot - mobile have limited storage for video.
Safety on Social Media
Here are some of the tips of safety on social media.
Always use a strong password. It is better to have longer password with numbers and alphabets.
Always use a different password for each of your social media accounts.
Be aware of fake account. If you don’t know the person, don’t accept their request.
Set up a security answers by using two factor authentication.
Be careful about what you share and don’t reveal personal information like home address, phone number or financial information.
Most importantly, remember to always log off every time you're done.
Overall, today I learned a lot about techniques of using mobile phone as a tools for media purposes.
