Okay, so I was right earlier, it looks like Langdon's implant is working again, and he is receiving memories from his father through it. Very cyperpunk! It would have been interesting to have developed further the effect on Langdon, of his father's death while their minds were merged like this. Surely there would have been some sort of psychological impact on him, of experiencing his father's death in such a visceral, immediate manner. Roll on Chapter Three!
